A Formula 1 weekend at Spa-Francorchamps

I take you to Spa-Francorchamps for my 2025 Formula 1 weekend from the Bronze spectator areas. This short vlog is mainly a visual diary with a few on-site impressions. Between a sunny first day and a much wetter Sunday, I discover the circuit differently from behind my simulator wheel, particularly its elevation changes and the distances covered on foot.

Saturday: discovering the circuit’s elevation

We reach the Kemmel Straight area after leaving the car in a fairly distant car park. The walk takes time, and the day starts quickly without a proper filmed introduction.

After the sprint, I share my enthusiasm for a move by Max at the start. The elevation also impresses me: I had not expected so much of it in this part of the circuit. We walk between several viewpoints to vary the footage.

Sunday in the rain

The weather changes considerably the following day. There has been heavy rain during the morning, and I mention the F3 interruption followed by a planned rolling start for F2. Porsche racing and Formula 1 are also on the programme.

The images continue this spectator’s walk, combining passing cars and the atmosphere around the track. Above all, I am happy to be there and see this circuit I enjoy so much in person.

A race that ultimately takes place

My final comment comes during the last lap: despite the red flag and the wait, the race has taken place. Seeing F1 in person leaves a strong impression on me.
