Ahead of the 2023 Miami Grand Prix, I share a flying lap in F1 22 with the 2023 season mod. I drive Lewis Hamilton’s Mercedes on my triple 32-inch screen setup for a short cockpit-view sequence.
A lap in the Mercedes
In the introduction, I announce a time of 1 min 24.7 s and use Charles Leclerc’s 2022 Miami pole position as a reference. The lap then plays mainly to music, without detailed commentary on driving lines or settings.
A fictional race to come
At the end, I introduce a forthcoming fictional sprint at the same circuit: a safety car is set to allow a stop for fresh tyres before two final laps against Max Verstappen. This preview accompanies the hotlap and introduces the next videos around Miami.
